David Izzo joins Will County Board representing District 2

The Will County Board today appointed and welcomed David Izzo (R-Tinley Park) to serve as its newest member in District 2.  Izzo’s appointment fills the vacancy that was created when former Majority Whip Laurie Smith (R-New Lenox) retired last month.

As a resident of Will County for the past 12 years, Izzo has been very active in the community by serving on the Lincoln-Way School District 210 Board of Education since 2005.  He was the president from 2009 until 2011 and prior to that was vice-president for two years.

Izzo has been a practicing attorney for nearly 30 years.  He graduated from The John Marshall Law School in 1983.  He currently works for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company as a regional attorney.  He also serves as an arbitrator for the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration Program and is an instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
