Quinn Signs Illinois DREAM Act
Governor Pat Quinn has signed a bill making it easier for children of legal and illegal immigrants go to college. The Illinois DREAM Act creates a nine-member commission to look over the fund which will give out scholarships. Students have to attend an Illinois school for three years, have a high school diploma and have one parent who immigrated to the U.S. The scholarships work at both public and private colleges.
