Governor Dismisses Veto Session Overrides

Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner says he didn’t lose during the fall veto session, it’s just that the job of reforming the state is tougher than it looks.  The governor yesterday brushed off questions that lawmakers defeated him by overriding more than a dozen laws.  Rauner said he knew that turning around the state would be difficult, and this past week is proof of just how tough that job really is.
