The Federal Bureau of Investigation has announced the arrest of the man they believe is the "C-Note" bank robber. FBI spokesperson Cynthia Yates says 33-year-old David Ortiz was taken into custody Friday after he allegedly stole 35-hundred dollars from a U.S. Bank in Bolingbrook. Ortiz has been charged with one count of bank robbery but is also suspected in a string of Chicago-area bank robberies dating back to January 5th of this year. He's currently being held without bond. If convicted, he could get up to 20 years in prison.
