A 65 year old man visiting from Ohio was shot in the zero to 50 block of Hunter Avenue in Joliet, around 4:45 PM Thursday afternoon. Joliet police say the man was approached after getting out of his car, shot in the chest and robbed of some money. He was taken to Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center with what's reported to be non-life threatening injuries. Police say they are looking for a vehicle that headed north on Hunter after the shooting, and two subjects that were in dark clothing.
