Parked Car Catches Fire In Bolingbrook Subdivision

An early morning car fire on the east side of Bolingbrook. An alert resident called 911 after noticing small flames underneath a vehicle parked in front of a home in the 400 block of Independence Lane. The car became fully engulfed in flames. It happened at about 4:20 this morning. The Bolingbrook fire department responded within minutes following the 911 call. No word of injuries or cause of the car fire.
