Semi Fire Causes Heavy Delays on I-55

WJOL has learned that a Semi on fire earlier this afternoon was the cause of heavy delays on Interstate 55 Northbound between Route 59 and Caton Farm Road. Two right lanes were closed and traffic only got by on the left lane. The delay lasted most of the afternoon before being cleared away by emergency response crews.
