4 School Districts On Probation Over Mask Issues

Four school districts across the state are on probation over face mask issues. Beecher City Unit 20 in Effingham County, Cowden-Herrick Unit 3A in Shelby County, Hutsonville Unit 1 in Crawford County and Nauvoo-Colusa Unit 325 in Hancock County remain under the ISBE sanction. The districts are on probation for not yet adhering to the state’s face mask mandate for schools, which was issued in August.
