A Bolingbrook man with a history of run-ins with police has been arrested for a murder that took place last month in Bolingbrook. Twenty-one year old Anthony S. Hite Jr. of 552 Pinebrook Drive was taken into custody on Wednesday in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Brandon Kines.

It was at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 24th that Kines was found in the 300 block of a Ottawa Street in Bolingbrook with multiple gunshot wounds. The residence had been the target of shooting in October of last year as well.

Hines has been arrested three other times since 2017. Hite has been charged with 3 counts of First Degree Murder and 2 counts of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon. His bond has been set a $5,000,000. Hite is currently in custody.
