A Shooting On I-80 Near La Grange Road Has Illinois State Police Investigating

Illinois State Police are investigating a reported shooting, which occurred on I-80 eastbound near La Grange Road at approximately 9:02 p.m., on Monday September 30, 2019.

Preliminary information indicates ISP officers responded to the above location and spoke with victims involved in the reported shooting. The three occupants of the victim vehicle did not sustain any injuries. The incident and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation; additional updates will be released as they become available. There are reports that this may have been a road rage incident. The back window of the vehicle was shattered by a least one bullet.
