As a result of Gov. Pritzker’s mandate to close schools and other entities, JJC will close through March 28.
Employees will be engaged on an as-needed basis during this time to finalize an alternative delivery and operations model for the spring semester.
Employees are required to check their JJC email regularly for additional instructions during this time period.
Despite the uncertainties that come with this unprecedented time, please know we are making each and every decision carefully. Our actions have been in line with the recommendations and guidance of the CDC and the Governor’s Office.
Most importantly, our first priority is to ensure the health, well-being, and safety of our campus community. In addition to careful consideration of all factors, we are working to make preemptive decisions when we can, and we appreciate your patience during this time.
As a reminder, other operational changes past March 28 include:
  • All internally and externally hosted events through April 30 are canceled.
  • All domestic and international travel is suspended until further notice.
