The Crest Hill police department obtained a warrant for the arrest of 22 year old Anthony L. Casterberry for his involvement in the fatal crash last month that killed a 60 year old Joliet man. Another man was been taken into custody on the night of the crash. Nineteen-year-old Jeremiah Grubbs was taken into custody on May 26th and charged with possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a firearm without a FOID card.

Crest Hill police department is asking for the public’s help if they know the whereabouts of Casterberry. It was on May 26th, in the early hours of the morning, when a car fled Crest Hill police and ending up crashing into another vehicle at Jefferson and Reedwood Drive killing, 60-year-old Suos Khloth of Joliet. Both of the occupants of the vehicle fled, one got away and the other is in custody.

The Crest Hill Police Department is currently investigating a traffic incident that occurred on or about May 26th at around 1:00 a.m. A Crest Hill Police Officer attempted to stop a Mitsubishi Endeavor in the area of Theodore Street and Edgerton. That vehicle fled from Police and a short pursuit occurred. The Mitsubishi ultimately struck another vehicle in the area of Jefferson Street and Reedwood Drive, killing that driver, 60-year-old Suos Khloth. The occupants of the offending Mitsubishi fled on foot from the vehicle after the collision. The Will County Sheriff’s Police Department is conducting a traffic reconstruction of the crash.

One of the alleged occupants in the fleeing vehicle, Jeremiah D. Grubbs was taken into custody and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Possession of a Firearm without a F.O.I.D. card.
