Another Former Blackhawk Makes Accusations Against Former Video Coach
Another former Blackhawks player has come forward to accuse former Blackhawks video coach Brad Aldrich of “grooming, harrassing, threatening and assaulting” him. Identified only as “John Doe,” the former player joins former Blackhawks “Black Aces” player, Kyle Beach, in the lawsuit, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The suit accuses the Blackhawks of showing “utter indifference” and “conscious disregard” for the safety of their players.
The law firm Romanucci & Blandin filed the suit. They are the same firm representing Plainfield Central football players in the alleged hazing and sexual assault lawsuit against Northwestern.
A “Black Ace” is a hockey prospect who joins the team for a playoff run … but doesn’t play unless a regular player in the lineup is unable to play.
