Are Reforms On The Horizon For Illinois Nursing Homes?

Governor Pritzker’s administration is pushing for nursing home reform. The call to action comes after President Biden highlighted new nursing home accountability measures during his State of the Union address Tuesday. A proposal currently before the Illinois General Assembly would infuse more than 500-million-dollars into Illinois Medicaid nursing home rates and create more accountability for the industry.
