Attorney General Warns Of Ticket Scams

Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul is warning Illinois residents about tickets scams during summer concert and festival season. Raoul cautioned that buying tickets from a third-party vendor or private party increases the risk for fraud and inadvertently purchasing counterfeit tickets.

Residents should avoid paying for tickets with anything other than a credit card, which offers additional protections should a sale be fraudulent.
