Bolingbrook Pothole Repairs Will Cause Delays Throughout Today

Major pothole repairs on southbound I-55 near Route 53 in Bolingbrook. It began on Monday afternoon where the rebar could be seen in the right lane. IDOT crews have had two right lanes blocked with only the left lane getting through. As reported by Jeanette Hudson on Twitter, the concrete has been poured.  But it’s unclear how long the lanes will be blocked as the concrete takes time to cure.
