Brandon Johnson Preparing To Pick New Top Cop For Chicago

Chicago Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson is preparing to select the next Chicago police superintendent.  Johnson said the city’s next top cop should be compassionate, collaborative, competent, and someone who has the trust and the voices of the rank and file members.  His selection will replace former CPD Superintendent David Brown, who resigned last month following nearly three years on the job.
