It was a Democratic Sweep in countywide races on Election Day in Will County. In the race for Will County Clerk, with current clerk Nancy Schultz-Voots retiring their were two new contenders for the office. In the end Democrat Lauren Staley-Ferry defeated Republican Laurie McPhillips. Staley-Ferry currently serves on the Will County Board representing District 9. McPhillips has previously served as the Recorder of Deeds for Will County and had also served on the county board.

In the race for Will County Treasurer it was the Democratic challenger Tim Brophy defeating the incumbent Republican Steve Weber. Weber has served as the county treasurer since 2010. Brophy had previously spent a decade and a half on the Joliet City Council

And Will County Sheriff Mike Kelley was re-elected for a second term on Tuesday, defeating Republican challenger Jim Reilly. Kelley was first elected Sheriff in 2014 after then Sheriff Paul Kaupas retired.
