Breaking: Joliet Police Identify Person of Interesting in Parking Lot Homicide
UPDATE: Joliet Police have released the following update regarding the investigation into the Denny’s Parking Lot Homicide from earlier in the week.
“Due to the numerous calls and tips the Joliet Police Department received from the public, we were able to identify the person of interest. The Joliet Police Department wants to thank everyone who sent us information in regards to the identity of the female in the video. We also want to thank the media for all of their assistance in the matter. The investigation is still on-going. We will put out another Press Release if there is any significant change to the investigation.”

The Joliet Police Department is currently looking for assistance from the public in identifying a person of interest from a homicide earlier in the week. The homicide in question took place on April 30th in the parking lot of a Denny’s Restaurant located at 2531 Plainfield Road. The person was seen talking to the victim, Gregory G. Brown, in the lobby of the restaurant a short time prior to the shooting. The person is described as a female white between the ages of 18 and 30 years of age.
