Cannabis Cultivation Sites Producing Marijuana In Preparation For January

Cannabis cultivation sites across Illinois are preparing for January 1st. Ascend Illinois is one of the largest of those cultivation sites, producing around 100 pounds of marijuana weekly. ABC 20 reports that the process of taking marijuana from seed to plant to product takes up to 20 weeks. Dispensaries are opening for adult use at the beginning of 2020, when high demand is expected.
