Chicago Election Sees Low Voter Turnout

Chicago is coming off an election that saw low voter turnout. As of late last night, 33-point-one-percent of registered voters had cast their ballots. That is slightly higher than when a record low 33-point-zero-eight-percent cast ballots in the 2007 election. Yesterday’s turnout could go up after mail-in ballots are counted.
