Chicago Expected To Receive New COVID Boosters Next Week

Chicago is expecting to receive 150-thousand doses of the updated COVID-19 booster shot next week.  The new booster, which targets omicron subvariants, was authorized by the FDA yesterday.  The CDC advisory committee is expected to consider it today.
