Chicago Mayor Leaving Door Open For Amazon

Is Chicago hoping to make a play at Amazon’s HQ2 location if the New York deal falls apart? Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, leaving the door open, saying nothing has changed since the initial bid was put in.

Emanuel says, “the fundamentals of Chicago that they looked at are still unbelievably strong.” He says Chicago has a very educated workforce with a robust higher education and transportation system. The online retail giant may be considering a change for one of its original locations for HQ2 in New York.
