Chicago Mayoral Election Poll Shows Tight Race

The race for Chicago mayor appears to be tightening. A recent independent poll shows former CPS CEO Paul Vallas with a six-point lead over Cook County Commissioner Brandon Johnson. Forty-four percent of Chicago’s registered voters side with Vallas, while 39 percent plan to vote for Johnson. Sixteen percent are undecided. Early voting starts next Monday in all 50 city wards just before the April 4 election.
