Chicago Street Race Finishes Despite Rain Delay

Rain nearly washed out NASCAR’s first ever Chicago Street Race Sunday. After attempting to start early and beat the storms, NASCAR was forced to push back the start of the race to 5:30 p.m. With that, officials decided to run just 75 of the original 100 laps in NASCAR’s first-ever street circuit. New Zealand’s Shane van Gisbergen won last night’s Grant Park 220 in his Cup Series debut.
