Crest Hill Couple Sentenced In U.S. Capitol Breach

A Crest Hill couple is receiving probation and community service for taking part in the U.S. Capitol breach last year. John and Amy Schubert were sentenced yesterday to 18 months of probation and ordered each to perform 100 hours of community service. Both pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Washington to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful entry of a government building. The Schuberts are among more than two dozen Illinoisans to be federally charged in the Capitol attack.
