Crest Hill Police Investigating Homicide

The Crest Hill Police Department is conducting a Homicide/Death investigation that occurred in the 2400 Block of Red Oak Trail on Sunday, July 7. Crest Hill police tell WJOL that his is a stabbing that is domestic in nature. 

Police Chief Ed Clark says police were called to the home just after 3am. Police found a male stabbed to death. A female was present at the home and the two knew each other.
Chief Clark did not have any information that police made calls to that location recently. The Will/Grundy Major Crimes Task force is helping with the investigation and police are also working with the Will County State’s Attorney. No charges have been filed.

More information will be released after an autopsy is performed.
