Darien Park District Sued Over Alleged Sexual Assault

The Darien Park District is being sued over claims that a young girl was sexually assaulted on the district’s property. A lawsuit filed Monday in Cook County Court claims a figure skating coach raped a girl he was training at the Darien Sportsplex between 2016 and 2018.
The suit accuses the park district, U.S. Figure Skating and MA Figure Skating Academy of failing to protect the girl.
