Democratic State Rep-To-Be Plans To Sue Mike Madigan

A newly elected Democratic state rep. is looking to file a hostile workplace lawsuit before she’s ever served a day at the state capitol. State Rep-to-be Anne Stava-Murray yesterday said she’s going to sue House Speaker Mike Madigan for creating a hostile work environment. Stava-Murray says she’s been harassed three times since election day, including by a number of female state lawmakers. A spokesman for Madigan did not comment on the news yesterday.
