District 202 and Will County Health Department Hosting COVID-19 Vaccination clinic

The Plainfield School District and Will County Health Department will host a community COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 4-6 p.m. Friday, July 23, 3021 at Plainfield High School – Central Campus, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive, Plainfield.

 

The clinic is open to all Will County residents ages 12 and up. Anyone age 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must provide proof of age. Appointments will be added as needed when current spots fill up.

 

Please Note: Participants will receive the Pfizer vaccine, which requires two-doses for an individual to be fully vaccinated. Participants will be automatically scheduled for a second dose on August 13, 2021.

 

Fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear masks when indoors according to current guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, the Illinois Department of Public Health, and the Illinois State Board of Education.

 

Recipients who are pregnant or breastfeeding were not included in the clinical trials for the COVID-19 vaccines. Recipients should talk to their doctor about the potential risks of receiving the COVID-19 Vaccination.
