District 86 to Keep Mask Mandate in Place

Joliet District 86 has announced that they will continue to require students to wear masks after an Illinois judge blocked the state’s mask mandate. In a letter to parents the district states that “students will continue to be required to wear masks on buses and in all District 86 buildings. In addition, all other COVID-19 protocols will remain in place.” The state has announced that they plan to appeal the ruling.
