Elwood Woman Killed in I-55 Crash

A woman is dead following a crash this week on I-55 on Chicago‘s South Side.  State police say a Pontiac Grand Prix slammed into the back of a semi Monday near Loomis Street.  The driver of the Pontiac was pronounced dead at the scene.  She was identified as Tricia Hernandez of Elwood.  No other injuries were reported.
