Explosion and Fire At Local Refinery In Lemont

In Lemont, New Avenue is blocked in either direction between 135th and I-355. Reports of a fire and explosion just north of the Citgo Refinery, at Seneca Petroleum. Lemont has responded to a tanker fire and explosion.  Romeoville Police are assisting with traffic. We have unconfirmed reports that there are multiply injuries.
