A lifelong Cubs fans is accusing the organization of stealing his idea of creating commemorative trinkets that were sold for 200 dollars each after the team won the World Series in 2016. Daniel Fox from Michigan filed a lawsuit yesterday in federal court in Chicago. The plaintiff came up with the plan of the souvenir in 1984 and shortly after entered a licensing agreement with the Cubs before the license expired a year later. Fox filed another suit in August of 2018 but it was dropped in October of that year.
