Farming Progresses Despite Slow Start

Corn planting is progressing after a slow start in Illinois. This has been one of the slowest years of corn planting since 1995. Nearly 70 percent of corn has been planted as of yesterday. Farmers are working around the clock to get seeds in the ground while there is a break in the weather.
