Farms Impacted By Cold Weather

Farms in Central Illinois are being impacted by record low temperatures. The USDA puts corn harvested for grain at 71-percent, compared to 96-percent this time last year. The soybean harvest is at 87-percent. Flower and fruit farms are also feeling the impact of the cold with lower yields.
