Fatal Crash In Manhattan Kills New Lenox Man

The Will County Coroner releasing the name of the man killed in yesterday’s crash in Manhattan. Forty-nine year old James Harbin Jr. from New Lenox was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 7:30 a.m. at Cedar Road and Baker Road. Harbin was the driver of a pickup truck that collided with semi-tractor trailer.
The fatal crash kept Cedar and Baker closed for hours. The driver of the semi truck was not injured. The Manhattan police department and the Will County Sheriff’s are investigating.
