Fatality on I-55 at US 30 on Sunday Morning

Illinois State Police District 5 are investigating multiple vehicle crash on I-55 on Sunday morning. It was at 6:02am  on I-55 southbound just north of US Route 30.  Four vehicles total were involved and one fatality has been confirmed.  Three of the four lanes were shut down while the scene was being investigated.  There is no further information at this time.  A press release is forthcoming.
