Father and Son Dead In Thanksgiving Day Crash

A father and son are dead following a crash in unincorporated LaSalle County. According to the Grundy County Coroner’s office, 57-year-old Daniel Wilson and 24-year-old Drew Wilson, both of Pontiac, were travelling northbound on Route 170 when they were struck by a car heading westbound on North 19th Road. The Wilsons were transported to Morris Hospital, where they both were pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the investigation.
