Fire at Joliet Apartment Building on Tuesday Night

A fire at a Joliet apartment building on Tuesday night has rendered the building no longer approved for occupancy. It was after 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday night that the Joliet Fire Department was called to 22 Cagwin Ave. in response to heavy fire being seen from the building.  Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze after entering the building. The incident is now under investigation.
