Fire on Jefferson St. Leaves Building Uninhabitable

The Joliet Fire Department is sharing details regarding a blaze at a building on Jefferson Street on Sunday afternoon. It was at 3:05pm that crews were called to 933 W. Jefferson Street. It took crews almost 35 minutes to extinguish the fire. According to authorities the building was a vacant structure. Authorities also shared that the building is now uninhabitable and that the incident is under investigation.
