First Female Bulls Co-Owner Dies at 93

The first female co-owner of the Chicago Bulls is dead at the age of 93. Bettiann Gardner died last week from complications from Alzheimer’s disease.

She and her husband founded Soft Sheen Products, which was created to provide better hair care products for African Americans.

The couple bought a share of the Bulls in the mid-1980s, around the time Michael Jordan joined the team.
