Governor Declares October Manufacturing Month

Governor J.B. Pritzker is declaring October as Manufacturing Month. He issued the proclamation yesterday while visiting the Chicago Magnesium Casting Corporation in Dixmoor. The location marks the state’s 40th manufacturing expansion this year. Pritzker called manufacturing the “leading driver” of the state’s economy at more than 100-million in economic output.
