Governor Pritzker Plans To Confront Gun Violence Statewide

Governor JB Pritzker says he’s ready to take action to curb gun violence after a meeting this week with President Biden. Illinois’ top political leader stressed that the state is fully engaged and working with federal authorities to confront gun trafficking and illegal sales in Chicago and other parts of Illinois. House Republicans in the state announced yesterday that something must be done, and recent criminal justice laws aimed at police officers will not help.
