Governor Pritzker Signs Laws To Help First Responders In Illinois

A package of new state laws is designed to help the physical well-being and mental health of first responders in Illinois. Governor JB Pritzker says a new task force will be created to prevent crashes that are a result of motorists who are texting and driving. Another new law creates an online resource for first responders to get information about depression and anxiety, nutrition, suicide prevention, and other topics.
