Grandparents Raising Children: Fellowship, Support & Resource Group

Joliet Township High School Bridge Builder and grandparent, Mary White, is hosting a special group for grandparents raising children.  Join Mary for fellowship, support, and assistance navigating the educational system.

As a grandparent raising a freshman at Joliet Central, Mary understands the challenges that grandparents are facing.  Grandparents have unique needs, and they are not alone.

Meeting topics will be determined based on the unique interests of group participants. Any family member raising a non-biological child is invited to join. The first meeting will take place at 10 a.m. on January 29 at the JTHS Administrative Center, 300 Caterpillar Drive in Joliet.  Refreshments will be provided.
