Ground Breaking Today For VNA Health Care Facility In Joliet

1501 Jefferson ground breaking for VNA Health Care – Joliet/ss

VNA Health Care is expanding their care for the Joliet area. Linnea Windel is the CEO of VNA Health Care and today is the ground breaking for a 14-thousand square foot facility to be located at 1501 West Jefferson.

Windel says there will be a drive-up pharmacy and a lab at this location. Because this is a not-for-profit facility they can buy medications at a lower amount and pass those savings to the patient.

VNA Health Care is the largest community health center in the Chicago suburbs. The facility will expand their services in Joliet to include family practice, obstetrics, pediatrics and mental and behavioral health services. There are 16 locations throughout the Chicago area. This is a not-for-profit health care facility and will provide care to anyone regardless whether they are insured or not and regardless whether they can pay.
