Gunfire On Ann Street In Joliet
At 6:24 yesterday morning, Joliet police officers responded to the 800 block of Ann Street after a homeowner discovered that their home had been struck
multiple times by gunfire. Officers learned that the shooting may have taken place overnight, shortly after 1:00 a.m.
The victim saw the damage later in that morning. Another home next door appeared to have been struck once by gunfire, as well. Vehicles were damaged, too. A Dodge Durango and a GMC Yukon parked in the driveway, as well as a Jeep Wrangler parked in the garage were hit by bullets. No injuries were reported.
While conducting a canvass of the area, Joliet police recovered over 30 spent shell casings in the street.
