Half An Inch Of Snow Today But Sunny Tomorrow And Into The Weekend
January 2, 2019 5:14AM CST
Light snow over the area Wednesday morning, possibly starting during the morning commute. It does appear that minor accumulations under a half inch across portions of northern IL. Also the snow could briefly reduce the visibilities under a couple miles and make for some slick roads. Any light snow should abate by early afternoon. Skies should begin to clear across the area Wednesday night. This should set up a seasonably cold night across the area.
For today, scattered snow showers until 3 p.m. cloudy with a high of 32. Accumulation up to 1/2 inch. Sunny the next four day with temperature rising each day. By the weekend, we’ll see a high of 46 degrees under sunny skies.
