An unsettled and cool weather pattern will be coming up this week. A stronger storm system may develop towards the end of the week, although uncertainty is high regarding the storm track. A rain/snow mix will again be possible Thursday night into Friday with cool and breezy conditions expected. Trick or treaters may want to dress warmly as temperatures will be in the 40’s.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, we had 3 inches of rain, making this year the 9th wettest year ever. Rainfall at O’Hare to date is 45 inches which is just over 14 inches above normal to date this year. Total rainfall amount at the Romeoville National Weather Office is even higher at 52.34 inches which is 18.50 inches above normal.
